Following what has been described as fresh clusters of Corona virus, some parts of Beijing have been placed on lockdown to help with the prevention of further spread of a new locally transmitted Corona Virus Cluster.
Beijing the capital of China on Thursday 11th of June 2020, reported it's very first case of infection after two months of having no records of infection of the Corona Virus.
Fifty (50) more cases followed suit and were announced. All cases of infection recently announced were traced back to a vegetable market in the city of Beijing.
Although China is said to be the source of the COVID-19 outbreak, it has also been leading the rest of the world in flattening of the curve after very strict local and regional policies were made enforced thereby helping to eliminate the spread within it's territory. The recent reports of fresh outbreak of the infection in Beijing has however resonated fear of a renewal of the dreaded COVID-19 infection in China.
The Chinese authorities have announced the commencement of mass testing and have ordered the residents of the estates affected to remain indoors. Police officers have also been deployed to the various locations in their hundreds to help enforce the "Stay Home" order.
