His Excellency the Executive Governor of Bauchi State has today 29th June 2020 commissioned the state’s ultramodern Reference Molecular Laboratory.
The laboratory of which is certified by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), is to help quicken testing and results collection.
Gov. Bala in referring to the newly commissioned project said
"It is one of our cardinal strategies in combating the spread of #COVID__19 and Lassa Fever in the state.
"International development partners have also adjudged the laboratory of which is a product of the generous partnership between the state government and the North-East Development Commission as one of the best in the country.
"Furthermore, I use this opportunity to reiterate our commitment as a government towards the provision of qualitative healthcare services to citizens of the state, and very importantly, to prioritise the welfare of our health workers towards tackling challenges in the sector.
