Fhi360 Nigeria Hosts Dialogue on Addressing Gender Based Violence among Vulnerable Populations

 



Fhi360 Nigeria hosts Webnar to ' Address Gender Based Violence among Vulnerable Populations: The Key Population Community Perspective'. 


FHI360 a leading human development organization has announced that it will be hosting a webnar on December 10 2020 at 4pm GMT. 

The discussion will highlight, barriers faced by the different key population communities in reporting Gender Based Violence GBV and seeking assistance, community participation in removing those barriers, the role of different key population in building a society that is free of GBV and available legal provisions in Nigeria to support the different key population communities in response to addressing GBV and ensuring that survivors get justice.




Key note speakers at the Webinar are; Amaka Enemo, a National Coordinator of Nigeria Sex Workers Association, representing West African sex workers in the regional platform, Gbenga Austen Oladapo, a well versed activist and Executive Director of Initiative for Advancement of Humanity, Emmanuella David-Ette, a trans/Intersex Human Rights advocate and Executive Program Coordinator for Trans & Intersex People-TIP for Human Rights in Nigeria (THRIN) and Henry Okiwu, a public health professional and a front liner in addressing gender and human rights, hepatitis and other blood infections for the PWID.
